Step by Step Basic Flower Care:

1. When you receive your bouquet of fresh flowers, remove the flowers from their wrapping carefully.

2. Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle at your desired height to fit your vase. You can also opt to cut the stems under room temperature running water to allow better water absorption.

3. Prepare a clean vase and fill it with cool water. Place your freshly cut flowers into the vase and enjoy your new table arrangement!

Extra Tips:

  • Consider adding flower food to give them a nutrient boost, and to add a little drop of bleach to fight off bacteria. Recipe for flower food below.
  • Recondition them everyday by re-trimming their stems, removing any excessive or dead leaves and petals.
  • Keep them in a shaded area and away from direct sunlight.

Homemade Flower Food Recipe:

  • 1 litre water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid bleach.
Fun fact: the sugar will help to feed the plant while the bleach would fight the bacteria in the water.
